Increased Seizure Activity

Kate's having more seizures. We're upping the Topamax again.

As of Saturday, Kate has been on what the doctors consider the low end of the therapeutic dose of Topamax. She had a couple of days with slightly fewer seizures, but yesterday and today she has increased to well over 20 per day. Kelly talked to the Epilepsy nurse again today. We are increasing her dose again. We won't be giving up on the Topamax until we get to the high end of the therapeutic range. We'll see what happens.

Please keep Kate in your thoughts and prayers. We need to stop these seizures!
