She's now almost 2 weeks out from her procedure. At first, anytime we touched it was understandably difficult for her. Now she tolerates it usually very well. It still amazes me that a hole in your stomach can heal so quickly!
She's now over 13.5 pounds (probably close to 14) and showing it! She definately looks bigger (as we keep getting told) and is getting pudgy.
Kate is much more alert and interested in toys and interacting (and laughing!). She plays with her ladybug at length and is starting to get interested in putting toys in her mouth. She also has shaken a rattle a few times and thoroughly enjoyed it.
She's still struggling to hold her upper body & head by herself, but its definately getting stronger. I feel like it's possible she'll be sitting on her own by her first birthday (which Kelly and I are realizing is coming up way too fast - we've got a big party to plan!).
