Fever & Stanford delayed

Julia unfortunately shared her cold with Kate. Kate had a 101+ fever Thursday and Friday. Unfortunately, this has postponed our Stanford stay by a day (at least we didn't have to postpone to January!).

Thankfully, Kate's seizures were not negatively affected by the fever, although it's very common for illness/fever to make seizures significantly worse. In fact, we've seen fewer (if any) seizures the past couple of days. Go figure.

We should be admitting Kate to Stanford on Tuesday morning now, staying at least through Thursday. Hopefully we don't have any more surprises or delays!

Julia fed Kate a bottle for the first time this afternoon - sweet!!!
