Kate is doing well overall.
She has been pretty alert and 'normal' since the weekend. She had a few days where her stomach seemed to bother her more than normal, but today she seems better. She's also eating a bit better.
She still struggles quite a bit with her phenobarbital medication. The past few times she has thrown up a portion, so we've had to re-dose a little. She takes the Topomax fine, however. I wish we could somehow convince her to swallow the phenobarb quickly instead of keeping it in her mouth and getting really upset. Maybe when she's older?!?
Unfortunately, Kelly did notice what she thought was a small seizure this evening. Apparently it was pretty short (5-10 sec.) and just a few leg jerks, but definitely looked like a seizure. Here's hoping that this is an isolated event (although unlikely)! We'll be watching closely.

Hi Jaeson and Kelly,
I've finally surfaced and tracked down your blog...and caught up with the past two months! What an incredible roller coaster this has been for you all, and what a little trooper your tiniest daughter is. I think of your family often and my hope for you all is for strength, patience, and peace. Kate could not have chosen a more wonderful, loving family to walk this path with her.
