A Better Day...

Kate's day started out much the same as yesterday, but she perked up around lunchtime.

She is not quite back to herself, but she's getting there. Kelly and I have gotten a few smiles this afternoon and she's been awake much more. It sure has been nice seeing her again.

Her fontanel is bulging less, which is a good sign. She still is needing round the clock ibuprofen to keep her comfortable. She is also still pretty over hydrated, but that seems to be slowly getting better.

We have new roommates this afternoon. So far, so good. Still pretty cramped but MUCH quieter. One good thing about Kate being so out of it the past couple of days is that she slept right through all the noise. The same can't be said for Mom & Dad.
