We enjoyed a nice evening together to celebrate. Aunty Kelly, Uncle Corey and Cousin Liam joined us for dinner in her room. Party in room 306!
Kate enjoys one of the toys she got from big sister Julia.
Kate's nurse Cathie (holding Julia behind the balloon) joined us for singing happy birthday. She was nice enough to bring cupcakes (which Julia and cousin Liam thoroughly enjoyed). Cathie so far is winning the talent contest of who can make Kate laugh the most (amongst all of us, not just the nurses!). We've been very lucky with the kindness and compassion of Kate's nurses.

Happy 1st birthday Kate!! What a lucky girl she is...all those presents, all those people. She has truly touched more lives than she can imagine.
