Just gave Kate her last phenobarb dose a few minutes ago. Kelly will bring her into the lab to have her phenobarb levels checked around 10am tomorrow. The Docs were saying that it will stay in her system for a few days, but it's alittle unnerving stopping the med. As you can see in the picture, this day has come none-to-soon for Kate. Let's just say phenobarb time is not the highlight of her day.
Not sure how much longer we'll be giving her vitamins, but it sure is a messy process. We mix this with milk, so it's not quite as traumatic as the phenobarb. As Julia would say, it's still 'not her favorite'.
No more seizures, Kate... PLEASE!
