We have a 10 pounder!!!

Kate had another pediatrician appointment today. She weighed in at 10 pounds... which means she has gained at exactly the rate of a 'normal' infant since last check - about 1 oz per day!

We plan on taking her off the seizure med (phenobarb) early next week. We will take her in to the lab to check her blood phenobarb levels on the day we stop, just to have a baseline level that we know keeps seizures controlled. That way, if she does have seizures again, we know the dose that works. We still have the emergency anti-seizure med to give her just in case.

This Sunday (8/3) will mark 1 month post surgery! She's doing great!
