Kate had quite a few minor seizures yesterday afternoon (shaking ones, not the turning blue kind). Thankfully, they were earlier in the day so we were able to take her to her pediatrician instead of the ER. They increased her phenobarb dose by 50%. The doc said that sometimes it can take a few tries to find the right dose. Let's hope this one works well.
Please keep her in your thoughts... we're REALLY hoping that this new dose is completely effective. Good thing is, she doesn't seem to be too upset by them. However, Kelly and I are not sure how many more times WE can stand seeing her seize!
